APA Advertisment

Designed to commemorate Island Pacificer Heritage Month, this advertisement features bright, bold colors and cultural symbols to celebrate the heritage and vibrancy of the community.

 I chose red for the background due to its commonality in many Island Pacificer flags as well as its symbolic nature for happiness and prosperity. I found that thin stripes and geometric shapes were a common pattern within the culture, so I implemented it to fill in some of the negative space as well as enforce a way of implementing the culture into the overall design.To convey love and togetherness, I selected a family photo, symbolizing the strong sense of community and connection within the Island Pacificer culture.
